Our Mission
I’M READY FOUNDATION provides healthy meals to youth ages 3-18 during the summer and set pathways for their success by guiding them on creating vision boards that help them set and meet goals for their future.

Learn - Envision

We use animation, color theory, templates and other learning alternatives to encourage creativity with the intent to increase goal completion through the use of vision boards.

We assist students with creating power packed vision boards of their dreams and passions. This includes what they want to be when they grow up, where do they want to travel and so on.

We align students’ passions with their dreams to create a strategic vision board at the child’s attainment level with a deliberate path for success! Parents participate in this process.

Achieve - We Win

Each student continually completes monthly task that contributes to realizing their dream with one action at a time.

Students get bi-monthly “shout outs” to celebrate efforts, maintain focus and deflect negative social distractions.

I grew up loving everything math and science. I can still name most of the 118 elements on the chemistry chart and I solve geometry problems just to relax. However, despite my love for learning and aspirations, I ended up surviving hunger, teen pregnancy, physical abuse, mental challenges and a self-sabotaging behavior.
From an early age, I was forced to deal with unbelievable trauma, and, most days, I went to school hungry. The combination of trauma and the lack of nutrition and resources blocked my ability to excel and thrive. In response, I created an organization to address both social and nutritional challenges faced by children who grow up in negative relentless environments.
In 2009, I'M Ready Foundation was incorporated in 2009 as a charitable organization to reverse the root causes of negative social behavior among youth. While our strategies proved to be effective, we desired more change in behavioral outcomes. We learned that most students attended our workshops to eat, which led us to rethink our services.
In 2012, we created the "No Child Hungry After 5" (NCHA5!), where we cooked, and delivered nearly 200,000 meals to underprivileged children and youth. While there appeared to be an increase in positive behavior, some of our most talented students ended up making unhealthy choices.
In 2020, we developed the We Win! Project. We combined I’M READY FOUNDATION’s experiences with key strategies from the MindPower Coaching Academy to produce a unique life map specific to each child’s strengths and passions, which bridges the gap between their dreams and actually achieving them.
I’M READY FOUNDATION envisions the next generation of Americans identified as people who eat healthy and find value in creating vision boards that empower them to set and accomplish life and career goals.

Donate $25 and a child receives a prepared, cooked and delivered nutritious meal.
Donate $400 every month and you can adopt an American child and you will receive monthly reports on their progress.
